Friesland College

Friesland College is a Regional Training Centre (ROC) for secondary vocational education (VET) and adult education in the region of Friesland, in the North of the Netherlands. Every year about 9,000 students follow a course: which can vary from a few years, to a year, a few months and even a few days. Friesland College is a practise-based learning environment where entrepreneurship education is a priority at all educational levels and backgrounds.. The school has a large regional network of businesses and is considered responsible. Friesland College is / was lead partner in KA2 innovative projects SESAME and Claim your Future, setting up innovative tools and collaboration to change the mindset of people in the field on social entrepreneurial behaviour. Experiences in both projects highly contribute to the creation of Value and Future consortium needs and project ideas.

Kautech

Kaunas Education Center of Technologies (Kautech) – is a public institution, that providing initial and continuing vocational education and training by offering students a wide range of specialties related to engineering, technologies, construction and agriculture sectors. Kautech combine around 3000 students, more than 450 staff members and 250 local partners. Kautech VALUES: freedom, responsibility, competence and professionalism. Kautech VISION – a modern and open vocational training Center with a technological profile. Kautech MISSION – to educate competitive specialists, personalities who base their activities on the values of sustainable development, citizenship, creativity, ensuring leadership in the country and in the international professional training space.  

Before the reorganization of 3 VET Centers in Kaunas region, Kaunas construction and services training center (a part of Kautech) was a participating partner in KA2 innovative projects SESAME and CLAIM YOUR FUTURE, by setting up an innovative tools and collaboration to change the mindset of youth in the field on social entrepreneurial behaviour. Experiences in both projects highly contribute to the creation of VALUE AND FUTURE consortium needs and projects’ main ideas and goals.  

Kautech aims to become a modern institution, responding to challenges of globalization, European integration and promoting the attractiveness of vocational training to all target groups. Kautech wants to increase professional and vocational level in society among young people and encourage youth entrepreneurship by offering knowledge and good examples.

IDEC

IDEC is a training, consulting and high technology company located in Piraeus, Greece. Among other activities (management consulting, quality assurance, evaluation and development of ICT solutions for both private and public sector) IDEC has an accredited lifelong learning centre and organises in-service training courses for companies and teachers/ trainers, study visits and informal learning activities for students in initial education and training and provides training courses and work placements for students in vocational training and people in labour market. Ethics, Values, Sustainability, Innovation are some of the topics that we provide training on through our training centre e.g. “Values Education”, “Education for sustainable development”, “Innovative Teaching Methods” etc. In the field of Lifelong learning, IDEC has experience in European policies regarding LLL and in particular EQF, ECVET, Europass, EQAVET, validation of non-formal and informal learning and in national reforms of education and training systems. IDEC has more than 30 years of experience from implementing International projects in relation to VET, entrepreneurship, micro enterprises’ sustainable development & empowerment as well as corporate social responsibility.

Escola Pia de Mataró

Escola Pia de Mataró was born in the city of Mataró, Spain more than 280 years ago. The school is also part of a group of centers of l’Escola Pia de Catalunya. Escola Pia has 20 educational institutions in Catalonia and each one retains its uniqueness. It’s organized by the educational stages it teaches kindergarten (from 3 to 5 years); Primary, secondary school, and Baccalaureate; and Vocational Training, with 2500 students and 250 teachers.

The school has a strong focus on supporting youth entrepreneurship, offering specific spaces and professionals accompanying student’s projects along the VET course. Escola Pia had also participated in other Erasmus plus projects as local support partners in which the last project was “Claim Your Future” KA2 Erasmus project 2017-1-NL01-KA202-035245. This project was led by Servei Solidari Foundation and Escola Pia actively participated with their students in order to support local social entrepreneurship among youth in the region. After participating in this project, it is important to improve involvement in this area and link it with ethical entrepreneurship in the school teaching curriculum.

MUAS

The Münster University of Applied Sciences was founded in 1971 out of eight public and private schools and has developed to a modern, achievement-oriented university. The university is with approximately 10.000 students, one of the biggest institutions of its kind in Germany. Furthermore, research is concentrated in the following 6 competence areas: Construction/Environment/resource, Health/Life Sciences, Product and Process Development, Applied Social Sciences, Company and Service Management, Communication/information. In 2007, MUAS was awarded as one of the Top 5 Universities for university-industry knowledge exchange by the German Ministry of Education and Research.

Residing within MUAS, the Science-to-Business Marketing Research Centre (S2BMRC) is recognised world-wide for its approach to Science-to-Business Marketing and the development of more entrepreneurial and engaged universities. MUAS has been selected in a national programme for universities to become an entrepreneurial university (EXIST Gründerhochschule) and funded with 1.5 million Euro. Therefore, the project results will fit into this development and add a particular focus on ethical entrepreneurship.

UNIC

The University of Nicosia (UNIC) is the largest university in Cyprus, and the largest university in Southern Europe that teaches primarily in English, with over 12,500 students from 70 countries across the globe, coming together in an innovative and transformative learning space. UNIC is a comprehensive university with over 100 conventional on-campus and online programmes of study, and particular strengths in medicine, health sciences, education sciences, blockchain, computer science, law, accounting, architecture, and international relations. UNIC has been instrumental in the internationalisation of higher education in Cyprus and the wider region.

During the past 2 years, the organization has been involved (either as a partner of a leader) in over 31 projects, including 7 H2020 calls and 22 Erasmus + projects, of which 19 were Erasmus+ projects involving actions in cooperation for innovation and the exchange of good practises. Moreover, regards to experience in mentoring, UNIC created and implemented MENTOR a formal mentoring programme, linked to the Sustainable Development Goals
